As a small business you face the same Employment Law and regulations as large corporations but with much more limited resources.
Our employment packs are the ideal solution for small businesses that don’t have the in-house resources to prepare all the necessary policies, procedures and other paperwork involved in employing staff.
 

Designed by a small business owner for small business owners  

The founder and Co-Director of RedTapeDoc, Andrew Hunt, has run small businesses for more than 25 years. Like many small employers he became frustrated by the increasingly complex employment regulations. He was also concerned by the trend towards aggressive legal action against employers, sparked by solicitors offering no-win no-fee deals.

Andrew explains, “We considered many options over the years but no one gave us a sensible solution. Most were much too complex to work in a real small business. All we needed was a simple system to keep us on the right side of the law”.

With the help of Business Link and ACAS, Andrew and his team produced an employment management system for their own business. This proved so effective that they decided to share it with other employers. The original system, tried and tested and tweaked over the years, provides the basis for the small business products we offer today.
