Emploment Law Handbook

Employment Law Handbook recommended reading

Many customers ask “can you recommend a good employment law handbook” and over the years we have always offered advice on which. The following are books we have used ourselves and would recommended to others.

Recommended Employment Law Handbook list

The first employment law handbook we recommend is The Employment Law: An Adviser's Handbook. This is a fantastic and informative book that is very comprehensive and easy to understand with only a little background knowledge. The Adviser's Handbook goes into quite some detail about employment law and how it should be interpreted. It includes some good checklists.

The third employment law handbook we recommend is Employment Law Made Easy

This is a useful beginner’s guide to employment law that goes into some detail, quite easy to understand and interesting reading. It covers a wide range of topics including contracts, tribunals, minimum wages and grievance procedures. However, don’t expect a massive amount of detail it’s not a book for employment law for practitioners.
